Patil Medical College was originally affiliated to the University of Mumbai and the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik (MUHS), but now is a part of the University. It was recently awarded an ISO 9001:2000 certification from the Joint Accreditation System of Australia and New Zealand (JAS-ANZ). Currently, the college provides facilities for M.B.B.S. and Post-Graduate studies.
